Investment Grade X-Men #101 "Enter: The Phoenix) from my husband's personal collection. Bought off the shelf at Golden Apple Comics in Hollywood when they were still across the street from Fairfax High and 2 doors down from Aron's records. This comic book has been bagged, boxed, and meticulously stored every since.

If you are an X-Men fan or collector, you will already know this is the issue Jean Grey saves The X-Men from certain doom and in so doing becomes The Phoenix.

Because I am no expert in comic books...I am told by trusted friends at a local comic book store that with a gentle cleaning and light pressing, this comic could easily CGC grade in the low 9's with a current retail value of about $750.
